Artistic London? Absolutely – you’ll find three museums close by, the Victoria & Albert Museum, Natural History Museum, and Science Museum are all about 0.9 miles/1.5 km away to the northwest. The Saatchi Gallery exhibits a wide range of art and is very close by, only about 0.3 miles/0.5 km to the east.
Shopping London? You’re close to quite a bit, including Harrods Department Store, with 330 or so departments, only 0.8 miles/1.3 km to the north. There’s also Knightsbridge, where you’ll find name-brand stores such as Prada, Chanel, and Giorgio Armani, about 0.7 miles/1.1 km to the northeast. The Peter Jones department store is just a few steps down the road, about 0.2 miles/0.3 km away to the east.
Dining London? What are you hungry for? If you want London fare, you’ll find plenty of pubs nearby to serve fish-and-chips or any number of other local dishes. There are many restaurants along neighboring King’s Road, with a variety of well-known and international cuisines to choose from. Travel London! London is a large city with plenty to see and do outside of Chelsea and its neighboring boroughs; should your travels take you elsewhere, try the Sloane Square subway stop just 0.3 miles/0.5 km to the east, which can connect you to many places in the city and beyond. The aforementioned King’s Road has plenty of bus stops to take advantage of and you can be sure there are taxis to ride in as well.
